BRITTANY GORMAN

Brittany began dancing at Darcelle’s Dancers at age 3 and is extensively trained in jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, pointe, contemporary, African dance, lyrical, polynesian, and acrobatics. She specializes in teaching tumbling, acrobatics, contemporary, jazz and lyrical. She graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in dance, where she completed a dance intensive pre professional program. She has preformed in many professional shows during her time as a student at SFU with some of Vancouver’s top contemporary choreographers. Throughout her university degree Brittany cheered for the Simon Fraser University Red competitive cheerleading team from 2008-2012, where she trained with national level gymnastic instructors. She has completed her Cecchetti exams from Grade 1 to Advanced 1, and as won numerous awards including Darcelle’s Dancers “Overall Student” She has a passion for performing and looks forward to passing down her love of the stage to her students. Brittany uses her love of the arts, performance, fitness and nutrition to create well rounded healthy dancers.
