Kirsten is a highly respected and accomplished technique teacher and choreographer. After graduating from the contemporary dance program at Simon Fraser University, where she also completed a Minor in Early Childhood Education, Kirsten was the Co-Artistic Director of the award winning danceLAB Studios Professional Division.

During the last 8 years she has coached and choreographed soloists who have achieved recognition both locally and internationally. She has coached 4 dancers to become BC Performing Arts Provincial Champions, in ballet, jazz/stage and contemporary/modern. She was the choreographer for the only two female dancers in BC to have ever placed in the Top 10 and Top 20 at The Dance Awards National Finals in both New York City and Las Vegas. She was also the choreographer and/or coach for Silver and Gold Medalists at the Dance World Cup in Germany in 2012.

Additionally, Kirsten has coached dancers for the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix NYC Finals, after her students qualified with a score of 95 of higher at regional competitions across the United States over the last 8 years. In 2016 her soloists were awarded the Synergy Dance Competition Provincial Champion titles in both the Junior and Teen age divisions.

Kirsten is passionate about helping dancers achieve their personal best and push to new levels of technique and performance, while building their confidence and encouraging their love of dance.
